Small businesses are big business for the City of Virginia Beach and a key component to creating a vibrant, successful, and global community. Throughout 2015, the Virginia Beach Department of Economic Development, in partnership with Wells Fargo, Kaufman & Canoles, BizWeb, 360IT and Endurance IT, will continue to support the small business community by providing a series of free workshops.

All the workshops below will be held in the Virginia Beach Economic Development Town Center Board Room (4525 Main Street, Suite 700, Virginia Beach, VA 23462).
Learn the latest techniques to protect yourself and your business. The workshop is scheduled for August 20, 2015, from 2 p.m. - 4 p.m. and will be facilitated by 360IT.
Learn how this tool can be used to tie advertising and marketing campaigns. The workshop is scheduled for September 10, 2015, from 11:30 a.m. - 1:30 p.m. and will be facilitated by MyBizPPL.
Learn the latest techniques, approaches of key subcontract provisions for federal project addressing the most commonly negotiated clauses. The workshop is scheduled for October 15, 2015, from 9 a.m. - 11 a.m. and will be facilitated by Kaufman & Canoles.
Easy IT Concepts for Small Businesses
Topics will cover best practices in disaster recovery and business continuity, ensure your business and technology practices are aligned and moving forward in the right direction. The workshop is scheduled for December 10, 2015, from 2 p.m. - 4 p.m. and will be facilitated by Endurance IT.
