Small busi​nesses are big business for the City of Virginia Beach and a key component in creating a vibrant, successful, and global community. Throughout 2019, the Virginia Beach Department of Economic Development, in partnership with our business community, will continue to support the small business community by providing a series of ​ workshops.

All of our workshops are free to attend. Our goal is to make the workshop series accessible to anyone who may be interested in learning, collaborating with community members, and/or growing their entrepreneurial skills.​

Space is limited - registration ​​is required.  ​Workshop locations will vary based on the number of registrants.

National, Regional and Local Business Resources Workshop​

The City of Virginia Beach is sponsoring a workshop featuring local, regional and national resources partners designed to assist entrepreneurs and the small business community aspiring to start and or grow their business.  The workshop is scheduled for January 29, 2019​ , from 4:30 p.m. - 6:30 p.m. at the Advanced Technology Center's Auditorium, 1800 College Crescent, Virginia Beach, VA 23453.
